Each and every tattoo artist

has their own

STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES.

Your goal should be to find the tattoo artist who is talented in the style of work       YOU CHOOSE

    TO HAVE.

Check out our Tattoo Tips on our 'What We Do' page, to learn what tattoo artists WANT you to know as a client.

STAND OUT
FROM THE CROWD:

with a GREAT tattoo.

Beyond the INK's Mission Statement:
Beyond the INK supports licensed, professional tattoo artists who work out of clean shops. We support people in the skin care community who have devoted time developing products specifically for taking care of your new tattoo. We specialize in informing and educating the public about every aspect of the tattooing process, from conception of the idea for the tattoo, to selecting the artist, to proper after care and the importance of each stage in this process.
It's all about TRUST...
Now, I know it can be a scary thought to let your artist have some creative freedom...it's like you're losing control of your tattoo, and you are afraid you won't like it if that happens. But remember, if you went about this process the right way you've already researched your tattoo artist, you like the style and quality of work that they produce,  and you've communicated your ideas to them. If, at this point, you don't feel as if you and your artist are on the same page, it's time to thank them for their time and move on to the next artist on your list.

Kris can be found at tattoo shops and tattoo conventions around the US and Canada this year. Check out our 'Tour Dates' page to see when you can come

out, meet Kris, and talk tattoos!

Not all tattoo ARTISTS are created equally...

So choose
yours wisely.
